Anyone into Status Quo, who were massive in the UK. Did they make it here?

They were a rocking boogie/ bluesy/ rock band in the 70s with walls of AC30s and 2 singers/ guitarists playing Teles (pne of them, Rick Parfitt, died recently - RIP Rick). They used to play extended jams and they were the first group I ever saw live in 77. They left a massive impression on me.

In the 80s they became more mainstream and poppy and I went off them a bit but still enjoyed the older stuff.

Here is a video at the massive festival we used to have in the UK, Knebworth:

Here is a Lick Library rig rundown much later when they were using Marshalls:

And at Glastonbury:

An end of an era with Rick gone :-(

Me and my friends were into them in high school.
On my grade 12 english exam (late 70's), there was a 'bonus' question for 5 marks.
'Define Status Quo'.
My answer, 'A British rock band'.
I got zero at first. I took the 'piledriver' album to school the next day to show the teacher.
He gave me the marks.
