I really like the classic old look of this guitar. Very, very cool. Nice score!
While I'm sure there are many reasons the Gibson would be worth more, I like to refer to it as "the law of diminishing returns". From a good starting point (ie, not a cheap guitar), every extra $ you spend gets you less and less value.
