picked up a seagull burgundy cw GT qit awhile back. It has some damage on top, not serious just ugly. I was thinking of sanding and fixing bad spots, then buying a black lacquer from stew Mac and doing a small burst Since damage is around the edges. Any thoughts?

I actually used nail polish on a guitar and it worked pretty well. It was easy to find a colour to match, although the clerk at the store looked at me funny;)
