One of my best friends when I was 14 was commuting from Clarkson to DT Toronto every day working full time for them to make 40 dollars a week. It was to pay for his 'education', meanwhile it didn't come close to covering the transit. I had another friend who immigrated from Australia whose parents thought it was a private school. Two years and 80grand later they finaly realized it was a cult. 6hs a day of PE, the other one or two cost 10,000 per subject per year.

Blood transfusions can be a life saving procedure. But then again, denying medication to someone with chronic depression or bipolar disorder will increase the possibilities of high risk behaviours such as suicide.

The blood transfusion is a huge piss off for me. They preach that everyone can choose for themselves but the church intervenes with families ,.. kids die, moms in labour die,..no choice, sad.
