This song used to play all the time in the 80's. She is older than I thought but still a bit young. Rip.

Yes, that would have been the song that i remember the most. They had a program on the radio yesterday dedicated to her. I learned a lot about her personal life. A lot of ups and downs. seems she stopped performing in the 90's.

I don't remember that song.
All i remember hearing/seeing from Quebec in the '80s was Alfie Zappacosta (I think he came from QC?) and mostly Mitsou and her doe eyes and pouty lips. ;)

She wasnt a household name for sure but was big in Europe. I think this song is a reference to Ella Fitzgerald if my memory is correct
