Reverse polarity ?

Hi everyone. Quick question, I have two Fender Strat. Pickups I'm putting in a Tele ( bridge and neck). Can I reverse the leads on the neck pickup to get a middle reverse winding effect with the 2 pickups in phase?

It certainly is a pain and one of the negative aspects of an otherwise great design in general.
