The tailpiece and bridge on my LP have become tarnished from contact with my hand. Brass and chrome cleaner does nothing to restore it. Wondering if anything beyond replacement can bring these back?
I'm not looking for a perfect finish, the chrome on the bridge has actually been worn or eroded away to expose the brass underneath. The bridge post is also looking a bit grubby and dark.
I believe the bridge is ABR. Not sure about the tailpiece (Epiphone Elitist)

Thanks in avance

If it's actually worn through the metal no amount of polishing will fix that.

A metal polish (or automotive polish) is your best bet but are mildly abrasive & can wear it down farther.

Throw them on eBay as "reliced " for double the cost of replacements ;)

Great idea...I know I can't fix the brass peek through, I just wanted to clean it up better than it is at present.

I think I might just replace though
Thanks

Short of getting it all replated I don't think there is anything you can do
