I'm just wondering if anybody knows where in southwestern Ontario to possibly get a republic resonator. I tried contacting 12th fret but they have not returned my emails so unfortunately I have to look elsewhere. I am unable to drive to Tronto to actually try any so I was going to order it from them online and have them ship it. I'm looking at one of the parlour size guitars from republic but I've unfortunately had no luck with even them emailing me back as well. Maybe they're no longer in business?

Have your tried calling 12th fret instead of using e_mail?

That was my next step was calling them, I just wasn't sure if they were still carrying it anymore because they're usually pretty good with getting back right away. I also tried a couple dealers out in Vancouver with no such luck and I believe one of the dealers is closing down. I found that not all the dealers carry the full line. I can order it straight from Republic but with the price of the American dollar compared to Canadian dollar it's just too steep at this point.

I think the exchange rate won't make much of a difference if you buy it from a Canadian dealer or direct from Republic. A Cdn dealer will still have to buy it in US dollars. Myhre's Music here in Edmonton is a Republic dealer.

Thsnks Robert, you're probably right that being said 12th fret did get back to me when I sent another email. When I replied with what I was looking for they haven't got back to me since LOL I think I'll give them a call if not I'll just order one from either the Edmonton store or direct from Republic.
