Hey guys,

I have an RC Booster which is acting up lately. It makes a popping noise when the boost is engaged. Its an early version of the RC which i think was prone to stomp switch problems. I'm pretty sure that is the root of the problem and just have to change out the 3DPT switch however i cant solder if my life depended on it. Anyone know of a tech local within Toronto that could fix this? I'd send it back to Xotic for them to fix however the warranty is done and will repair it for $20 but want $65 for shipping. Yes i said $65! what a joke. Thanks.

You could probably bring it to Songbird, Capsule, or Long and Mcquade and they'd do it for you at an hourly rate plus parts.

Just bought a 3PDT switch at Songbird. It is an expensive part $16, but if thats what it takes, it's your best bet to buy it and get the work done there.
