When it rains, it pours: Vancouver had a record number of rainy days in November

This is recorded at YVR which typically wouldn't see as much rain as say the North Shore.

Funny thing about the coast - record dry spells and borderline drought conditions in the summer and then enough rain to make you forget there's a sun.
All that rain moved east and turned to snow giving the hills the snowiest start in 67 years. Lake Louise and Sunshine were in great shape a couple of weeks ago considering the time of year. We got some snow early here but nothing for a while now, guess it hasn't made it this far.

Like my west coast friend says when making fun of prairie folks, "but it's a dry rain". ;)

Good, I hope the rain wipes the usual winter smug look off of Vancouver-ites faces as they go jogging through Stanley Park without winter clothes.

I kid! ;)
