My filing cabinet is bursting at the seams of stuff that's no longer necessary keeping. What do you guys use?

This one is a little old, but it was the best one I could find for the price I was willing to spend. Fellowes 73ci

I've had this for 5 years and it still works great. Best one on the market in the price range at the time

IME, if it says it can shred 20 pages, it means onion skin. That translates to 4 or 5 'real world' pages. Unless, I suppose, you get a pro unit.

We have an early Fellowes small office level model and it has never let us down. I never push it beyond about 4-5 pages at once.

Yup I bought a $50 one years ago...it does maybe 5sheets at a time. Haven’t used it in years other than getting rid of some old love letters from Linda Ronstadt.

Personal shredders suck. I’m seriously thinking of calling a mobile unit.

The noise can be extremely annoying. If it's going to get a lot of use, get the quietest one.
