Lately, I've been taking the bus a lot more than I used to and I can't really enjoy my music, since my standard ipod earphones don't cut out background noise at all and even at max volume, I can't really hear my music half as well as I would like. I'm looking to buy some noise-canceling that offer good sound quality (deep bass) and that aren't too bulky and preferably under $100, does anyone have any suggestions on what model(s) I should be looking at? Thanks.

A friend of mine swears by these Sony buds. He wears them while riding his motorbike and says he's gone from listening to his iPod on max to listening to it around the 1/3rd mark while riding. That's pretty crazy. And the noise cancelling box is under his riding jacket too!

For plane travel I love my Bose QC2's. They make flying barely tolerable again.
