So the mesa tech told me it was a 79 so for the last two? Years I was claiming it was a 79 but I found dates on the chassis 2/14/80 so February 14th 1980 .

The model is mark 2a enlarge picture to see model on little infor plack


The speaker is the original speaker

The chassis is clean pardon the room it's not so clean and old picture

The combo it self is pretty big
Style: open back combo
Material: cream tolex
5way eq: yes
Reverb:yes
Tremolo:na
60/100 watt :yes
Accessories: rhythm/lead foot switch (original), wire diagram (2) copies

Disappointed that I have to wait 3 more years till I can say I own a 40 year old tube amp yes big time

I would rate yours very highly.

I have a 1984 Studio Series. Your PCB is in very good condition compared to mine. The Studios run hot so there is significant signs of high heat on the PCB. Nonetheless, this amp still rocks with that gnarly Boogie tone. I replaced the speaker with a Eminence Patriot Red Coat, but also run it (separately) into a Mesa 1x12 Wide Body cabinet. I prefer the cabinet.
