This website has probably the most intuitive and innovative way of listening to online radio stations worldwide that I've seen so far. No menus, no countries to select. Just make sure you click on "Live" and the radio streams will pop up. Here's the website: Radio Garden
Thanks guys. I was listening to stations last night from Australia, England, Ireland, Mexico, Iceland (!) as well as various Canadian and U.S. cities. It's one of those websites that you may think you'll spend 5 or 10 minutes on, but before you know it, you've been there over an hour.
Just wanted to add this, it seems like a lot of the stations, not all of them, play westernized/North American style pop, rock and roll, etc. I'll give you an example of this, a couple of nights ago I was checking out a station in Morocco figuring I'd hear some Moroccan music but what do I hear? A fellow Canadian, Bryan Adams, singing a ballad.
However, I was checking out some Caribbean and South American stations last night and I noticed for the most part their music seems to be more of the local music. For example, Reggae, Ska, Soca as well as various South American styles. I was kind of disappointed with Cuba. Only 2 stations were available. I was hoping to hear some lively Cuban music. Oh well. I'll be checking some more South American stations tonight.
