Hi all,

I just "discovered" Ed Bickert lately. Didn't know he was canadian... Awesome talent  .

I read somewhere that he sometime used Roland Cube amplifier. Is this the same Cube with all the integrated effect (like Cube 60) or some older model?

Thanks for your inputs ...

I had the pleasure of doing sound for Eca couple of times in the '80s when he was with Moe Kaufmann (sp?) and Dizzy Gillespie. I believe he was playing a Cube 40 at that time. (But it might have been a Polytone) BTW the guitar I've always wanted was his old Tele.

The previous incarnation of the Roland Cube amps were orange and had no digital effects. These were great little workhorses. I have one (same as the one pictured below), from the early 80's, that looks rough, but keeps on going.
