I signed up on Reverb.com to be a preferred seller which allows you to participate in sales and promotions on Reverb.com. I believe you need 10+ positive transactions to qualify. You must have direct checkout to allow for this which is the good news - Reverb will transfer US$ to a US$ bank account in Canada.

That is always been my beef with PayPal as they force you to convert in Canadian dollars when withdrawing funds from your PayPal account. With Reverb Direct Checkout, you can buy and sell in US$ and save conversion charges and the fees with DC are less than PayPal. More $$$ left for gear purchases!

I just got the email myself. haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet though.
I actually got the email about Canadian DC a couple hours after I signed up. Reverb must be getting a good chunk of Canadian business to deal with this. My intent in signing up was only to participate as a seller in the sales events (15% off etc) but looks like this might be a good thing. to be continued.
