I posted this in Building & Repair as well but realized more people come to this section, and are always looking for solid luthiers & techs. Anyway, the fellow who recently purchased my CS Jr sent me a link & video of this luthier's work on that specific instrument. The guitar had significant "nitro burn" from a wall hanger, which was unfortunate as the guitar was in otherwise remarkable condition. The luthier is Ted Woodford, in Hamilton, and I was astonished to find out his charge to do the work seen in the video (plus a complete set up, in just a few days) was $100. I shudder to consider what others (12thFret?) might have charged and how long it could be with them. Anyway, I have to say that after watching the video I was suitably impressed. Here's a link to his site as well: woodfordinstruments

Man, that is a beautiful guitar! And the guy guy doing the repair is really good at DIY videos too. Very conversational and informative. Thanks for sharing this.
