I tried them both out a few months ago, and I personally liked the Line6 much more than the BOSS.. I found ht Line6 sounded more realistic, and the boss sounded more digital, fake, almost the same feeling i attribute to a metal zone pedal... That kind of digital distortion sound it gives..
I also found the software to plug the Line6 into the computer directly with very useful, and easy to use.
