So when you go through as many pedal changes as I do having a board that has easy access to cabling is a must, and I've loved pedaltrains ever since I first got one. After telling Jock (sulphur) that I was trying really hard to keep my board as compact as possible I started looking at the new sizes and folded pretty quickly. I didn't want to be carrying around something as big as my old PT2 but I wanted something a bit bigger than my PT Jnr. Enter the Novo 18. It has one extra horizontal rail and is only 1" wider than the junior but that difference is all I need. I'm shocked at how much more i can get on this thing. Here are a few pics for comparison. Also a plus is that I have room for an additional power supply underneath if needed.

I love PT boards. I've had one of the newer model PT2 boards for about a year. I like that they are soo quick to switch out and the new bags are quite rugged for gigging. I find road cases really heavy and bulky. I was thinking of getting a mono case but the newer bag is holding up really well. I used to break zippers about once every 6 months on the old ones.
