Im thinking of getting a pocket pod for practice and small jams. I want something small and portable, and most of all under 150$

The pocket pod is looking like a good choice,

so I am pretty much limited to stuff on this page:

in terms of price.

The M-audio Black Box is also another idea...

just wanting some opinions

I have an M-Audio Black Box which I like because it has a drum machine in it and beat-synced effects. It has the basics and sounds pretty good. Had a PODxt before and never really liked it. I thought it sounded like crap even with headphones. It might work well for recording but it certainly wasn't for me.

My favorite unit in terms of sound alone (using it to practice with headphones) was a Digitech Unit. It also has some drum patterns built in. I think I had an RP300 which I unfortunately sold to buy the PODxt. Anyways after messing around with the PODxt for about a year I sold it and bought the Black Box.

Again, I just use it to practice and mess around with different beat-synced effects. Also tried recording some stuff with it on my PC but I'm still working on that...
