aren't most of peavey's footswitches designed with a proprietary cable type? I know most of their newer designs are (XXL, XXX, 5150, JSX etc)

It's $50 direct from their website. It certainly doesn't look worth that much...Emohawk said:(hehe) I was trying to be nice about it!
And from what I understand, their proprietary Valveking footswitch isn't cheap either.
