That was entertaining, as primarily a rhythm player, this resonated with me. Not sure about the thicker the better but, hey, he should know!

Loved them as a kid. Not so much now. Paul was never a great player yet got the Ibanez Iceman guitar deal.
I used to like them when I was a kid. I guess they represented rebellion to me. I went to a Halloween party with 3 buddies all dressed in full Kiss gear (rented) and makeup (no instruments!) I was Paul
I never considered any of those guys in Kiss as great (good) musicians lol

I was and still am a big fan of what they did up to the mid 70s.
PS plays some great guitar parts and Ace had the perfect leads to go along with it.

The early Kiss stuff is just straight ahead rock'n roll. Awesome.

I have never seen them in concert but I am going in August in TO. I know they were probably a better band with Ace but I need to see them anyways.

Paul is so right in that a solid rhythm player is very important to a band’s sound. Maybe even more then a solo player.

IMHO Malcolm was a far superior player that could run circles around Paul.

You haven’t met my wife. The more interesting the movie, the more she talks about unrelated stuff. Lol
Hey you too? I know a couple of ppl like that.

I get lost in the conversation cuz they can’t stay on track about what we were talking about.
