Parker PM-20 pups

Hi guys, I picked up one of these a month ago after trying it at Steves for about 2 minutes. The action is amazing with the ebony fretboard but the pups (wich are very hot) squeel like hell.

I dunno what to slap in there my '85 NJ series BC Rich bitch has an '88 Seymore Duncan Distortion in it and it doesn't squeel with the same setup just gives you that natural orgasmic harmonic feedback.

I would slap a couple of those in the Parker but I want a more vintage tone, the BC Rich takes care of my metal needs. I'm shooting for SG tone.

The best pickups I've ever used for vintage tones were Joe Bardens. Of course pickups are a personal choice.......
I finaly swaped the pups on this (sd '59 neck & sd custom 5 Bridge) also got the schaller roller bridge for it and I'm loving it. The new bridge makes palm mute crunch alot beter, the old bridge would throw it out of tune with any kind of pressure, i recommend the schaller for metal players, you can push down pretty hard on the palm muted power chords without going out of tune. I did some other mods like shielding and east indian rosewood cavety covers, polished rosewood no finish on it....looks cool.

Those Schaller Roller Bridge's seem to be very popular.

Fantastic pics!
Nice and sharp and vibrant.
Congrats on the guitar.
