Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has ever installed a P-90 pick up? I'm putting one in a lapsteel that I'm building and I'm a little confused....it only came with two screws that sit between the pole pieces and go all the way through the pick up. I assume I'm supposed to drill holes in the pick up cavity that the screws go into, but it doesn't have any springs. So how would these screws function to adjust the pick up height....is it supposed to have springs??
Thanks!

You can put a piece of foam under the pickup and screw the mounting screws through the foam and into the body wood beneath.

I have P90's in my Godin LG and it seems to be just like yours where the 2 screws sit between the pole pieces and screw into the body, but mine DOES have springs for height adjustment. Cone-shaped springs actually.

I also use some widow sealing sponge tape. Just stick a few pieces on the bottom of the pickup and it compresses and acts like a spring.
