There were some last ditch efforts to salvage some of the us production after the main closure with Kaman way back when. I thought a drum company owned what was left of it these days but looks like Fender ended up with it. I think it’s still going but might as well be dead.

As some told they were recycling kevlar from Vietnam war for their back & sides, there maybe be shortage ?
The Donald will arrange that soon with another war... somewhere... :-(

If Ovation's would sit in your lap and not slide out maybe they would still be something.

I've always liked them myself. Really like the neck and action. Yrs and yrs ago had a 12 string. Thing almost seemed to play itself. (sold it for grocery money in the early 80's, otherwise I'd still have it. :( )

This just in: GM is shutting down Olds, Pontiac, Saturn and Hummer. Jeeeeez, whoda thunk, eh?

I still think the AAA spruce top Connecticut built elite ovations were amazing instruments, even 4 years after the last post :)
