So I tried one of these out-
Orange Micro Dark

In addition to a reverb pedal I would like a small tube amp.
ANd this seems to fit the bill. (It weighs under 2 pounds for the head)
I tried one out--I liked it--comparing it in my head to what I already have, to decide if it might be worth parting with a pedal or two that I never or rarely use.

The midrange control is nice--especially as I like mid range--but even slightly cutting it was cool in some cases.
It overdrives well, and the clean is good too.

(This is actually a hybrid amp--there's one tube for the gain, and then solid state for the clean.)

SO has anybody here used one--what were your thoughts?

This would basically be for playing at home, recording for my own enjoyment, maybe in church.

It worked well with the little Orange cab, but I'd probably start with something else...
Thanks.

Well, not much you don't like about it. What can we add ? One thing I can tell you is that the Micro Terror is VERY dependent to the cab it's paired to. I had one for a while and I parted with it, just to realize later that I didn't like it because of the cab I was driving it with.
completely agree. I have regular micro - when I play tested it in L&M, I tried it with its own micro cab and with regular orange 112. Completely two different sounds.
