Any one now about a classical guitar that has the Okanagan springs brewery logo built right into the finish on the top??
I just picked one up of the Facebook buy &sell for $40 and I can't find any info on the internet that connects the brewery to the guitar brand.
The guitar it's self is a Lucida LK-2
I know it is an inexpensive guitar, but it is the brewery part that interested me the most.

Anyone have any info on the connection??

Thanks,
Joe

I'm going to guess that the brewery was looking for an inexpensive guitar to screen the company logo onto for promotional giveaways in either/or liquor stores or bars. There might be a few dozen of these. Maybe a summer promotion? Beer + campfire = good, good times. If that's the case, a classical guitar does seem like an odd choice for a "campfire" guitar, but the surface area and the colour of the wood lend themselves to making that logo pop.

For $40 I'd say that's a pretty cool score even if you just hang it on your wall.

I did many a solo Acoustic show in Spain with a classical Alhambra guitar. I came To respect its ability to sound quite heavy and punchy. A few tricks. Always extra heavy strings. Never change the top three except for breakage. And lots of red wine.
