All weekend long, I'm hearing about the super blood wolf moon, and how it's a rare thing you just have to see. I'm up around the appointed time to take a wizz and look out the window. Of course, like pretty much every celestial event we get told to keep an eye out and stay up late for, the sky is solid clouds. No moon, no stars, not even passenger jets. But tonight, I pull out of the garage to go pick up my wife, and the first thing I see is this humungous bright moon in the middle of a clear sky that looks like it's gonna devour the city. It's just not going to do any tricks like last night.

Anybody get to actually see it?

It was great last night - clear and cold skies in Toronto.

Unusual for us, we had a clear night. I sat out on the deck for 45 minutes or so, gawking at the red moon and having a pint or two. Mahvelously refreshing!

There are too many trees at my house to be able see anything from inside the house, and it was cold last night, so I didn't go outside, which means I didn't see it.

It was so beautiful wont happen here again till 2021 and the Scotch certainly helped

Yup. Clear skies here. Saw a nice crescent and a beautiful hue of burgundy, but it was too frickin cold to hang around for totality - my wife was a bit more resilient and lasted a bit longer.
