Sounds great-I got a fantastic deal only because a neck reset will be needed shortly-still even if I have to fork out $600 or so for a neck reset it is still a great deal for the final price

So where is the tonal range on this one. I am thinking it may be a little on the bright side because of the maple but other factors in the build can change that.

Not too bright but very deep. Spruce and Maple were the tone woods he used to make his mandolins and the occasional arch top.
