A few months coming. Picked up a set of pulled Casino pickups last Nov. Christmas got in the way and last month I sent them off to Vineham Custom Pickups. Got them back and took them to the luthiers at The Acoustic Music Shop for install and setup. Picked the Casino Coupe up today.

Have just tried it clean through a Super Champ X2. Well, talk about sparkly and articulate and well balanced with no harshness. These are the 'Blues Dog' winds: A4 magnets, 8.3k/7.6k. The original weren't bad, but over powering - A5 magnets, 12.1k/11.6k. Noticeable reduction in single coil hum too. So far, really good.

Setup was excellent too.

Edit: The middle position does funk really really well.

Congrats!

Very happy for you as I know you were looking forward to getting these done and installed.

Lots of choices for the P90 enthusiasts!...

So glad you like the new pup's. Its great when something you have been waiting for turns out well for you. I have been thinking of trying out one of Craigs p90's for my epi jr but just haven't gotten around to it yet but your glowing recommendation as well as others I've read on the forum may speed that up!
