I finally made the plunge.
I haven't touched pedals for 30 years and not knowing which of the myriad
of a 1000+individual units to choose from, I went the multi-effects route.
There are many brands on kijiji and elsewhere. I researched many forums and viewed a lot of vids.
I came home with one of these yesterday.
It was reasonably priced for what it offers in my opinion.
Since it's going to be raining most of the day, guess what I'll be doing for the next few hours/days.

Congrats!

Admittedly, I'm still recovering from the shock of seeing this thread...LOL

When you "make a plunge" ...you don't fool around!

ENJOY!

Cheers

Aesthetics aside, that looks like a cool unit in my price range. I've been looking for a good multi effects than can incorporate amp switching, a few pedal loops and 4cm. I wouldn't mind using a rack unit, but it just adds cost for a foot controller and pedal switcher etc.

Congrats!

I ran an RP2000 for a bunch of years.
One of the footswitches crapped out after over ten years of pretty steady use.

The edititng seemed pretty straight forward.
I made a few banks of my own patches, mainly one for humbuckers and one for singles.

Lot's of fun stuff to twiddle with in those, but useful enough to dial in your own patches.
