With the addition of these two pedals I will be firmly in basement rock god territory. I feel bad for my neighbors.

First up is a big box Big Muff. I picked this one up in a trade for my Holy Grail Nano reverb. I've never had a fuzz pedal before.

Next up is the Digitech Whammy that I won on here. Thanks again @Chitmo . I'm not really sure how to use this one effectively yet. It's going to take some time in my basement Noise Factory before this one gets on stage with me.

LOL

I'm kinda glad I haven't ever found a fuzz I like that match. I've never had more than the top of my head down that rabbit hole.

And no, don't recommend any to me - I have enough 'money sinks' in my life, I know the FRH* is deeeeeeep and never-ending.

*Fuzz Rabbit Hole - and yea, I just made that up. So sue me. :D

Forum member Nonreverb gave me a big-box BMP like the one you got, that a customer had left behind. Naturally, I just HAD to mod it. I put in two toggles: one to add more lower mids to the max treble setting, and one to add more mids to the max bass setting. That way, I can still have some bite if I want a woollier sound, and still have some meat if I want a shriller sound.

The list of mods to BMPs is almost as long as the list of fuzzes one might wish to own.

I'll just note that, while not exclusively attributable to tonestack differences, many of the audible differences between BMP issues are accompanied by tonestack changes. It's blocked for me at work, but look up www.kitrae.net and you'll see the history.
