In 2012 Fender celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Telecaster with the release of a special edition Tele for each month of the year. This Tele Custom is based on design cues from the ‘75 Jazz bass with its natural ash body and maple fretboard with black block inlays and a forearm contour on the front of the body.

Bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Fender Pure Vintage ’64 pickup. Action is super low and she plays great! The guitar has been gigged but well cared for. No finish chips. The only imperfections I can find are there are two hairline cracks on the edge of the pickguard near two of the screws. I tried to photograph them as best as possible. The other issue (and it was like this when I bought it) is the tuner button peg for the high E is ever so slightly bent. It doesn’t even show up well in photos it’s so hard to notice. Functionally it’s a non-issue but I want to give full disclosure.

Comes with original Fender G&G deluxe tolex case. Case is in pristine condition. Includes all original case candy in photo (Cord, strap, polish cloth, wrenches, and keys).

Selling because I recently bought another guitar and something else has to move out. These guitars are extremely rare.

$No longer for sale

You say no paint chips. I can't see where the body or neck was painted. Am I blind?
Are you referring to the natural finish? It's gloss clear coated and there's no chips in the finish.

I was just responding to what you wrote about paint. I guess you meant ‘finish’. I’m so tempted, what a nice instrument.
Yeah that's what I meant. I apologize for any confusion. She is definitely a very nice guitar!

No takers? I've got it on Reverb too and I really don't want to have to open it up to international shipping but it looks like I've got no choice.
