I saw this Custom Shop Fender Strat at Lauzon in Ottawa when it came out and had no idea how much Nile Rodgers had played in the chart topping music of the 70’s and beyond.

Great interview. His demonstration of the chord construct of some of the most iconic songs of that era is very interesting. Le Freak (Chic), I’m Coming Out (Diana Ross), Let’s Dance (David Bowie), Like a Virgin (Madonna). Amazing.

yeah that was really good

I never knew how influential he had been either, until a couple years ago when I saw something similar

I've owned a few Chic records for a while, but really learned more about him when his career "resurrected" with Daft Punk

Guy is a rhythm master, but can also play lead
