Or as I like to call it, @Adcandour not shutting up about their quality and a jazzmaster build coming up for sale with nice specs. Arriving in time for the weekend is a win in my book! I really enjoyed my time with the Fender American Professional this is replacing, and it's going to a good home in Toronto. First relic, first MJT work, first pickup wizard work, first capsule build, not my first custom guitar.

width at the nut is 1 5/8" , radius is 9.5, thickness at the 1st fret is .86" and at the 12th is .96", standard C neck profile with vintage tall frets.

Impressions - damn! This thing is beefy! The standard C description is definitely a bit chunkier than your average standard C, and I'm good with that. Fender style guitars with beefy necks are my new jam, as it turns out. I'm guessing a bit of it has to do with the downbar, but the pickup wizard option in here sound nice and very full. I reduced a little bit of bass and added a little treble in my JM preset after tracking. Mark at Capsule was great to deal with, very quick to answer all of my questions.

I'm going to log some hours with it this weekend - probably record another new song. Hurray for the pitch block .

It sounds great. I just have to decide if I want to stick with the gauge it shipped with, the 10-46 I had on the Fender, or the tried and true 10-52 I usually slap on everything.

Mark has been quick to answer questions, even after the sale. I would definitely deal with them again in the future.

Yeah that’s a awesome traditional looking jazzmaster. Good to hear about the Allparts neck shape. I love their necks and looking into a jazzmaster build. I like a fatter neck on any fender.

This one was already built. I had asked about a custom order and they informed me they don't do it anymore as it's more headache than just picking specs and waiting til it sells. I did let them know to get in touch if any end up being built with a wraptail bridge.

This was the appeal. The AM Pro I had was great and I liked the bright finish, but this one felt more "me".

I'm mainly bumping this thread because we had some wild weather fluxes in London, and the JM got a bit out of sorts. I took it to my tech and he let me know that the treble side bridge height screw had seized, so he couldn't give it a perfect setup. I let Mark know, and he's shipping me a replacement bridge at no cost. That to me is A1 customer service.

Nice guitar. I love Jazzmasters so much. I have an 62 AVRI. I recommend a mastery bridge. Although yours has the mustang bridge, the mastery is a killer upgrade!
