Morgan's are known for their acoustics, mandolins and banjos.
Very little info on electrics. Could be that someone else owns the name now and produced some.

Anyhoo ..
A good friend has been bugging me to sell/trade my Taylor acoustic to him since I acquired it.
I accepted this and cash as trade.
Made in Korea. Well built and sounds/feels nice.
The electronics will be swapped out someday. The pups sound good though.

It's hard to capture the body's flame maple in a pic without getting glare from the light.
I spent a hour cleaning the sticky nicotine off of it.
I had to go over the fretboard with three pieces of gorgomyte.
Frets are in really nice condition.
No marks whatsoever above the 4th fret (he's a cowboy chord strummer).

Very nice.

I'm going to assume it sounds better than a lit fart.

WHOOOOOOA !!! VERY NICE !!!

Not that I'm biased towards 335's or anything...LOL.

Congrats!

I hope you will permit me to take it for a spin someday.

ENJOY!

Also, my bench is set up for pickup/electronics swaps anytime you want to use it. That offer comes with all the fresh brewed coffee you need.

Really nice one, congrats!

Three passes with the Gorgo? Whew.
Most I had to do was two and that was a dirty board.

Your guitar impressed me so much that I had to do some research.
I had never heard of Morgan Munroe before.

This pic is all that I was able to find.

There are some references to others that own (or were considering buying) Morgan Munroe 335 style guitars...guess what...they are looking for info also...LOL

once again congrats Larry on picking some quality stuff...you are a master at it.
About your SG wiring harness....Just wondering if the Morgan has mini pots.
IF thats the case, your full size SG pots may not fit thru.
At that point you still have a choice to drill or not to drill...
I dont particularly like mini pots so I would warm up the drill just in case.

looking forward to playing it someday....
