It plays really nice as there is only an oil finish. Fender has made a few Tales like this as has Ernie Ball/Musicman

I like the neck more than the body haha. Our producer of the last few albums has a limited edition tele with the body made of rosewood (named "rosie" of course) - we used it a decent amount during tracking.

I want a PRS with solid rosewood neck still, of course

It's perfect for the body colour scheme, yet really unexpected on a Strat.

Cool... you get that from Mike? I had an EBMM Axis with a rosewood neck and it was cool... I've wanted to try one of those; don't know if I could get over a rosewood neck on a Strat though - it's a little left field...
