Picked up a nice Heritage Stat (Strat style) from Capsule in Toronto. Solid Mahogany body, Mahogany set neck, Rosewood board and bound curly maple top. HSS configuration with the Humbucker splittable. (8 possible combinations!) Kahler trem and locking nut etc. Neck reminds me of a 60s SG (one of my favourites).

Took it out of the case and tried it, everything worked; then I took it apart and cleaned it, polished it, set the neck relief (it was actually bowed up!), set the action and Voila! Rock and roll heaven. Only issue left is a stuck roller on the Kahler low E saddle, which doesn't bother me too much as I don't use much trem.

Any one know what Heritage used for pickups in the '80s?
