Amazing what they can pack in there, eh? OTOH, I lament the "unmoddability" of these otherwise marvelous digital pedals. It's like those times when the water or power is shut off in your home. You think to yourself "Hey, I could really go for a....oh....riiiiggghhht". You hear these pedals and think "Oh man, I love that. I wonder if I could make it do just a little of......oh.....yeah.....right."Mark, you beat me to it. I was just about to make a post about this.FWIW I really like the shimmer effect and the 60 second looper.
I agree. I suppose they are doing things previously not possible, but if it's a one trick pony, even a fancy one, it hits a dead end, IMO. I bought that Boss Terra-Echo and it was a really cool trick, but not one that I could put into any practical use. If that were one of twenty cool effects, there would be a lot more chances more people would like it. And with s/w, it shouldn't be too hard to load a few configs in it that can be selected. If I could've turned the mod off on that TE, I would've kept it. As it was, it was nothing more than a paperweight for me.Amazing what they can pack in there, eh?
