I suspect you're right. Harmonizers may not be as close to the bottom of the list as, say, ring modulators (as far from a leave-it-on effect as one can get), but they are generally not the sort of thing one might use often. But they sure do make chords sound interesting.

It also depends on how well it tracks & how artificial it sounds with the way I play.

This is intriguing as I'm now playing in a trio and this would certainly fill things out. I've had less than positive experience with other harmonizers (e.g. Pitchbay, Pog), so would really want to test this one out live before buying...

I had a Boss PS-5 that I loved. Would suggest that if anyone's looking for a good harmonizer.
Haven't tried the TC but I'm sure it's great too.

Mick and Dan from That Pedal Show have a go at the pedal, with Tore from TC...and his ever-present toque.
He just wouldn't be himself without the toque

This has a lot of potential in a trio -- got one ordered to see what its like. Most of the demos run this in stereo thru 2 amps; I understand that the effect is less in mono. I'll see...
