I played one for a couple of years and used it live a number of times. I really liked the clean tone - I think you'll notice a big difference in the quality of the clean tone verses a solid state amp. I never had much success in gettting a good overdrive/distorted tone from the drive channel. However, the amp does take overdrive/distortion pedals really well in the clean channel - I never found a pedal which didnt sound good with the amp. I'm kind of sorry that I sold mine now. That 1x12 combo format is so easy to carry around verses a head with a 2x12 cabinet.
yeah, I've come to the point when I'm sick of hauling my cabinet to use with my tiny terror. I kinda want a deluxe or a deville. but over those im so keen on a super reverb. to be honest though, a super reverb isn't much different than carrying a 4X12 cabinet around weight wise.
