Can you guys recommend a decent Canadian web hosting company? Trying to search for something like that with Google is nearly impossible.

Key thing I am looking for is reliability, but I am also interested on one that offers free Blog/BBS and other PHP scripts.

Thanks

Lester, thanks for the reply. Do you find them fairly reliable? From checking their site, the feature set looks good.

The prices are right at both, but when you look up reviews on both for hosting they are pretty mixed. If it was my personal site, I wouldn't care as much but it's a site I am designing for a friend. It's a business site, so I am pretty worried about reliability and uptime.

Right now I use Canaca for my personal webspace and have not been happy at all. I find them impossible to get a hold of for tech support, they have used questionable billing practices, and I get a lot of downtime with both my site and the ftp. The site will also get incredibly slow at times. Their prices are great, but from my experience so far there is no way I can recommend them to this guy when it's his business site he's hosting.

That's the problem with a lot of these huge hosts with dirt cheap packages. Their prices are fantastic, but you end up comprimising on reliability.

I was able to find a local host that a bunch of people I know work for. The packages are way more tailored towards what I need too.

Some of the specs on the netfirms packages are insane. Who needs 750 GB of storage space?
