I have a new puppy coming home on the Canada Day weekend, but am having a hell of a time figuring out a name for him so I figured I would ask for suggestions here.

He is a purebred Welsh Terrier so I had planned to go with a Welsh name but most Welsh names are unpronounceable. Since we are Scottish I put together a list of Scottish names, and those are still being debated.

You gotta be comfortable calling him in public. Calling Shithead near a biker bar or elementary school might raise some eyebrows.

Fidelio gets confused with fellatio, so I don't recommend that.

Tommy, for Tommy Douglas, is nice.

Maybe pick a name once you know his personality?

Our dog came as Layla but she doesn't strike me as one. Probably why she gets called "booger" more often than not...
