I'd love to find a schematic and tune it up and seeing what it's all about. I got it at great price FREE.

My very first amp was a Symphonic, but not a big beast like that. It was a small champ-sized thing with an 8" Jensen speaker, volume AND tone controls. I got it and an AGS guitar through the Eaton's catalogue in '66 or '67. The guitar was $39.95 and the amp was $29.95. Symphonic also made record players that were sold through Eaton's. (or maybe it was Simpson-Sears?)

Funny thing is that it says 75 watts on the chasis but it only have 2 6V6s and a speaker that can handle maybe 30 watts. LOL

The wattage figure on the chassis generally refers to the power comsumption of the amp, not the output power.

Some of those el cheapos sound pretty damn good. This probably came out of the same factory that churned out "the Paul" and other cool pieces of crap.
