So this came up for sale, looks like a cheapo MIJ bass. But...its actually made in Italy. very nice quality.
The main difference is the MIJ basses tend to use a cheap mahogany type wood for the necks. This one is three piece maple. Plays really nice. Great feeling bass. Plus...its ultra rare. maybe one of a kind.
I also picked up a nice old Ibanez the same day! Both basses were 2 blocks away in Montreal.
