My brother is a 30 year bass pro, and that's what he uses. Curious to try one some day. I did briefly have the TH pre pedal, but never got it dialed in how I really liked. Would try it again, though, my rig has 100% evolved since then.

Rig pic... starting to dial in the sound I like, then it'll be time to find the sound the works well for the music I'm playing these days.

Lots of nice sounds in this amp, gonna take some time to settle in on it.

Ask you brother what he's got his set at. And what kind of music is he playing?

He's a semi regular in a modern country act, and does pickup stuff - studio, casinos, random bands that need a guy. He's essentially #2 on call bass guy in Winnipeg. Behind Spider Sinnaeve lol.

I'll ask him how he sets it.

He says there’s really not a short answer, as it’s capable in many situations. But if he were in studio or at any time wanted max clean volume, the VOL knob is maxed, and get your room volume from the GAIN knob.

He says tons of discussion about them on talkbass, but knowing that place, there’ll be 1 big thread with 3,000 replies to sift through.
