Picked up this weight friendly (47 lbs) combo yesterday.
300 watts/8 ohm, 500 watts/ 4 ohm.
It's been on kijiji for quite a while at a reasonable price and I contacted
the owner last Wednesday telling him that I'll be in his area (yesterday).
He accepted $100 less than asking price from me with no prompting on
my part because he liked how cordial and polite my email to him was.
I'll be putting it through it's paces at tomorrow's jam.
Can't wait.

My knees are soooooooo happy. lol.

Congrats!

Looks like a great combo and is exactly what you were looking for
(logically, or you wouldn't have driven that far and bought it...DOH...LOL!).

300/500 watts of power should keep you going for quite some time.

ENJOY!

Cheers

Dave

The one Markbass rig I tried, I liked the amp but not the cab (for some reasons modern 4x10s do not agree with me). These were a huge buzz when they came out, that I remember.

Anyway congrats; looks like a good score.

Funny, in my 2 years of bass gear exploration I've yet to even plug into a MarkBass. That thing looks to have about everything a guy would need in a nice small package. Congrats

I only plugged into a Mark once, years ago, at the Rehearsal Factory in Mississauga.
It was hooked up to a 410 and I was playing a Vantage bass through it.
Man! It blew me away! And that was a Little Mark 250.

I have heard many many times that a MakBass is designed to play a Fender Precision Bass.
I still have mine ( came close to selling but no cigar yet..)
Cammon Larry lets make the deal on that cheap tele you have.
Maybe we can do the swap thing to see if we like the instruments on both sides.

just thinking our loud...congrats on a nice bass amp.

It's that candy apple (fire engine) red that's turning me off. lol.
Sorry GT.

I have one of these, I prefer no tweeter, it just hisses.
Researching this before buying, Jeff had this built for the same reason.
He hates tweeters. So do I.

Throw a 'badass' bridge on it and then I'll give it serious consideration.
I don't like those bent steel ones that come stock.

I'll keep an eye out for a Badass...would be a nice upgrade no matter where it goes.
