They are magical when you can hear the cabinet in the room without having to mic it. You have to actually hear the sound from the speaker bouncing around the room.

If you are in a situation where you have to mic it (larger gig or whatever), you may as well just use a rotary speaker pedal. IMO.

Oufff... with 140 Watts of power... I dont see myself needing to mic the damned thing unless I go play with Metallica !!! :cool:
Is that 140 watts of power, or 140 watts of power handling capability?

If it is powered, I would guess a solid state amp? I'd be inclined to bypass that and plug a guitar amp directly into the speaker(s). JBL drivers should handle lots of power.

Might be a good idea to research caring for SS Leslies. There are some age related considerations to keep in mind due to it's age. Happy whirling!

I m not familiar with these and want to have as much fun as I can. Will research everything I can on it and want to restore-clean it as best I can.

This baby comes from the same selller that sold my my Traynor CS and 810 cab... got lots of other goodies also ... :D

Im going to get killed by my wife !!!%h(*&
