I like it. Simple no frills. A way a guitar really should be IMO. Are you using a Fender noiseless pickups?

Yes I am using a Noiseless pickup but I may change it as it has no ooomph.

There's a single pickup Strat with a humbucker in the bridge position and single volume control which sounds and plays nice. Kinda Esquire-like I suppose. Not so much to screw up. Sure makes a guy get it all with the hands.
