OK, depending on your point of view, this could be a pathetic waste of time and effort or...not. I put this together outta an old Norma Japanese Start and just got the Pickgaurd and white parts. It sounds pretty vintagey.It plays pretty good also.
AND heres the real thing-

Looks cool but that pguard has got to go man. Othwerwise I think it looks great.

Get a pguard blank, and the SRV stickers, cut the pguard to the proper shape and it'll look much better. That pguard is just not meant to go on that guitar.

I agree, cutting from a blank is a lot easier than you would think when you use the right tools. I really like the finish though
